UAE: Expanding the scope of selective consumption taxation

According to the Gulf Times report on October 31, the UAE Federal Tax Administration said that starting from December 1, the UAE's selective consumption tax will increase by 4,000 to 13,000. In addition, Federal Tax Administration Director Khalid reiterated that the minimum tax on tobacco products is 40 Phil per cigarette.
