Japan: Export orders to China's machine tools drop sharply

    According to "Nikkei Business News" reported on July 24, the Japan Work Machinery Industry Association announced on the 23rd.

    The machine tool order amount (confirmed value) data showed that Japan's total machine tool orders in June was about 98.9 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease. 37.9%, after a lapse of 32 months.

    Fell below 100 billion yen, which is regarded as a watershed.

    About 20% of foreign demand for exports to China was 11.5 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease of 59.7%, which was further expanded than the decline in May (31.7%).
