Beijing time on December 28th, the Indian government issued a decree on Wednesday prohibiting the online platform to sign an exclusive agreement, so that a product can only be sold on a single platform. At the same time, India also requires that the quantity of products sold by a single vendor on an e-commerce platform cannot exceed 25% of inventory. In this news, some analysts said that this policy may help Samsung regain the position of the smartphone market share from Xiaomi, because Samsung's offline retail channels are wider than Xiaomi, and nearly 70% of Xiaomi's mobile phone sales are From online channels. To stay ahead, Xiaomi needs to open a physical store quickly.

In addition to Xiaomi, this regulation may also hurt other domestic manufacturers including One Plus, Huawei Glory and OPPO sub-brand Realme, because most of these manufacturers' mobile phone sales are from e-commerce websites such as Amazon and Flipkart.
