The European Commission announced in Brussels on the 25th that the EU will sign a trade and investment agreement with Vietnam in Hanoi on the 30th of this month.
The trade agreement to be signed by the two sides will be gradually reduced until the elimination of 99% of the tariffs in the bilateral trade in goods, reducing the technical barriers in some specific industries.
The agreement will protect EU GI products and allow EU companies to participate in Vietnamese government procurement and enjoy equal treatment with Vietnamese companies.
