Brazil: China is its number one trading partner for ten consecutive years

  On January 2, data from the Brazilian Ministry of Economics showed that in 2018, Brazil's main export destinations and major import sources were China, the European Union, the United States and Argentina. 

  China has been Brazil's largest trading partner for ten consecutive years. In 2018, Brazil exported 66.6 billion US dollars to China (including Hong Kong and Macao), and its share of Brazil's exports rose from 23% in 2017 to 27.8%. Brazil mainly exports soybeans, crude oil, iron ore, beef, chicken, cotton and other products to China.
