According to South Korea’s Central Daily News, South Korea is the country that most likes to use robots. Based on the data at the end of 2017, the “robot density” that reflects the number of industrial robots per 10,000 workers is 710 units in Korea, which is more than eight times the world average (85 units). Since 2011, South Korea has been ranked first in this statistic. However, the Korean robot industry is fragile and the talent shortage is serious. Robot manufacturing technology still needs to be improved.
