South Korea: 20,000 supermarkets banned Japanese products

    According to the Korean financial website "MT" reported on the 17th, South Korea's large supermarket easy to buy said that from January 1 to 14, the Japanese beer sales decreased by 24.6% compared with the previous month.          

    Conversely, the sales volume of Korean domestic beer was higher than last month. Increase by 6.9%.

    After the boycott of Japanese goods, the sales of Uniqlo and MUJI decreased by 26.2% and 19.2% respectively. The Korea Supermarket Cooperation Alliance Council mobilized its member supermarkets to ban Japanese products. 

    Under this call, 3,600 small and medium-sized stores and more than 23,000 supermarkets across the country have taken action to ban Japanese goods.
