How to install a sliding door lock？

There are different types of sliding door locks, but the general steps to install them are similar. ：

• Clean the sliding glass door track with a vacuum cleaner and a cloth.

• Mark the mounting hole for the lock on the door frame, making sure it aligns with the latch on the door.

• Drill the first mounting hole using a drill bit that matches the size of the screws provided with the lock.

• Mark the second hole on the opposite side of the door frame, using the lock as a template.

• Drill the second hole and make sure the lock fits snugly on both holes.

• Mark the hole for the lock bolt on the edge of the door, using the lock as a guide.

• Drill a hole for the lock bolt, making sure it is deep enough to accommodate the bolt.

• Install the lock and test it by locking and unlocking it with the key.
