China's foreign trade grew by 8.7% in January

The general administration of customs issued a report on China's import and export in January. According to customs statistics, the total value of China's import and export of goods in January this year was 2.73 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.7% over the same period last year.

Exports totaled 1.5 trillion yuan, up 13.9 percent.Imports totaled 1.23 trillion yuan, up 2.9 percent.The trade surplus was 271.16 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2 times.

In dollar terms, China's imports and exports totaled us $395.98 billion in January, up 4 percent.Of this, exports totaled us $217.57 billion, up 9.1 percent.Imports totaled us $178.41 billion, down 1.5 percent.The trade surplus was us $39.16 billion, an increase of 1.1 times.
