European Patent Office: The number of patent applications in China has reached a new high

According to a report issued by the European Patent Office on the 12th, the number of patent applications filed by the European Patent Office in China reached a record 9401 in 2018, ranking fifth in the applicant country. The United States is still the country that submitted the most patent applications, with more than 43,000 submitted, followed by Germany, Japan and France.
